Mookambika Temple
Mookambika Temple is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Mookambika, located in Kollur village in Byndoor Taluk, Udupi District, Karnataka, at the foothills of Kodachadri Hills and on the banks of the Souparnika River. Believed to have been consecrated by Adi Shankaracharya, it enshrines a Jyotirlinga with a gold line representing Shakti. It is a major pilgrimage centre in coastal Karnataka attracting devotees year-round.
