Koilkonda Fort

Koilkonda Fort is a historic hill fort located in Koilkonda village of Mahabubnagar district, Telangana. Built during the Qutb Shahi dynasty era, this 16th-century fort sits atop a hill approximately 125-130 km from Hyderabad. The fort features seven ancient gates, stone inscriptions including one from Ibrahim Qutb Shah dated 1550, and offers panoramic views of Koilsagar Lake. It serves as an outpost with historical significance to the Deccan region's power struggles.

Nanded Fort

Nanded Fort, also known as Nandgiri Fort, is a historic land fort situated on the banks of the Godavari River, approximately 4 km from Nanded city in Maharashtra. Originally built by Muhammad bin Tughluq, it was later controlled by the Bahmani Sultanate, Mughals, Marathas, and Nizam of Hyderabad. The fort features double fortification with surviving bastions and has been partially converted into a garden. It remains open to the public as a heritage site showcasing Deccan military architecture.

Raichur Fort

Raichur Fort is a historic fortification located in the heart of Raichur city in northern Karnataka, India. Originally built in 1294 by Kakatiya ruler Gore Gangaya Ruddiva under King Rudradeva, it stands on a hillock with massive granite walls, bastions and gateways.
