Buddha Vihar

Buddha Vihar is a large Buddhist temple and meditation centre located on Sedam Road in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. Spread over several acres, it was built by the Buddha Vihar Trust and inaugurated by the 14th Dalai Lama in 2009. Designed with influences from Sanchi, Ajanta and other Buddhist architectural traditions, it features a main shrine, murals, gardens and a tranquil campus that serves as a centre for Buddhist learning and peaceful visitation.
