Taralabalu Brihanmath

Taralabalu Brihanmath is a prominent Veerashaiva-Lingayat monastery located in Sirigere village, Chitradurga District, Karnataka. It is the principal centre of the Taralabalu tradition and functions as a religious, educational and cultural institution. The complex includes temples, prayer halls, administrative blocks and educational institutions. Headed by the Jagadguru, it is notable for its spiritual leadership, community service through free education and food, and its role in preserving Karnataka's Veerashaiva heritage.
