Jia Pota Ghat
Jia Pota Ghat is a historic riverside ghat on the banks of the Chenab River at Akhnoor, about 32 km from Jammu city in Jammu and Kashmir. It is notable as the site where Maharaja Ranjit Singh crowned Gulab Singh as Raja of Jammu in 1822, an event linked to the foundation of the Jammu princely state. The ghat features a large foundation stone (Jia Pota), river views, and is located just below Akhnoor Fort.
