Balidan Stambh

Balidan Stambh is a war memorial located at Bahu Wali Rakh in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, dedicated to soldiers who laid down their lives in service since 1947. Shaped around a 60-metre-high pillar with a rifle and soldier's helmet motif and an eternal flame, it stands within landscaped grounds near Bahu Fort. Inaugurated in 2009, it displays names of martyrs, murals and an amphitheatre, serving as a prominent site for remembrance and patriotic observance in the Jammu region.

Brahma Sarovar

Brahma Sarovar is a large ancient sacred water tank located in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Believed to be created by Lord Brahma and associated with the Mahabharata era, it is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra. The rectangular tank features a central Sarveshwar Mahadev Temple connected by a bridge, ghats, and illuminated pathways. It attracts pilgrims and tourists, especially during solar eclipses and the Gita Jayanti festival.

Jyotisar Tirtha

Jyotisar Tirtha is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site located in Jyotisar village, about 12 km west of Kurukshetra city in Haryana, India. Traditionally regarded as the place where Lord Krishna delivered the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna before the Mahabharata war, it centers on a sacred tank and an ancient banyan tree believed to be witness to the discourse. The site features temples, ghats, a Krishna-Arjuna chariot statue and a light-and-sound show, forming a key part of the Kurukshetra 48 Kos pilgrimage circuit.

Konark Sun Temple

The Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the Sun God Surya, located in Konark town in Puri district, Odisha, on the Bay of Bengal coast. Built in Kalinga architecture style under Eastern Ganga King Narasimhadeva I, it is designed as a colossal chariot with 24 intricately carved stone wheels and seven horses. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, it is renowned for its detailed sculptures and architectural grandeur despite being partially in ruins.
