Bo Sang Umbrella Village is a traditional handicraft village in Ton Pao, San Kamphaeng District, about 9 km east of Chiang Mai city. It is renowned as the centre of handmade umbrella and parasol production in northern Thailand. Artisans craft bamboo frames, sa paper and cotton umbrellas and hand-paint them with floral and Lanna motifs. The village functions as both workshops and open-air market.
The Patan Patola Heritage Museum in Patan, Gujarat, is a private museum dedicated to the traditional double-ikat Patola weaving craft. Located in the Salvi family's ancestral home at Patola Chowk, it preserves and displays the 700-year-old textile tradition practiced by the Salvi community. The museum showcases historic Patola sarees, natural dye processes, looms, and weaving techniques, highlighting the craft's cultural heritage and its recognition with a Geographical Indication tag.
