About Zig Zag Scenic Drive
Zig Zag Scenic Drive is a one-way scenic road descending the Darling Scarp at Gooseberry Hill in the City of Kalamunda, about 25 kilometres east of Perth, Western Australia. Following the formation of the former Kalamunda Zig Zag railway, the 3-kilometre sealed drive offers elevated panoramic views over the Swan Coastal Plain, Perth city and coastline. Notable for its winding alignment, lookout bays and seasonal wildflowers, it is a popular short drive for sightseeing and photography.
