About York Motor Museum
The York Motor Museum is a transport museum located on Avon Terrace in central York, Western Australia, about 97 km east of Perth. Established in 1979 by collector Peter Briggs, it houses a significant collection of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia. Displayed within heritage-listed former garage and produce store buildings dating to 1908, the museum documents early to late 20th-century motoring and forms a key part of York's heritage precinct.
