About Whyalla Steelworks Tour
The Whyalla Steelworks Tour is a guided industrial tour of the Liberty Primary Steel Whyalla Steelworks in Whyalla, South Australia, on Spencer Gulf. It provides visitor access to one of Australia's major integrated steelworks. Notable for its large-scale operational steelmaking including blast furnace, coke ovens and rolling mills, the tour explains the city's industrial heritage and the steelworks' role in Australian manufacturing since the 1940s.
