About Wedding Cake Rock
Wedding Cake Rock is a distinctive white sandstone formation in Royal National Park near Bundeena in the Sutherland Shire, New South Wales. Its layered, white appearance resembling a wedding cake results from natural erosion. Located on coastal cliffs north of Marley Beach, it became internationally known through social media. Now fenced off due to structural instability, it remains a popular viewpoint along the Royal National Park Coastal Track, offering dramatic ocean and cliff scenery.
