Wat Worachettharam is a restored Buddhist temple ruin located within the Ayutthaya Historical Park on Ayutthaya Island in Pratu Chai Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is notable for its large central prang, ruined viharn, chedis and historic Buddha images. Visitors guide
Visitors can expect an open archaeological temple compound with a prominent central prang, remains of a large viharn (assembly hall), rows of ruined chedis and scattered Buddha images set in a grassy, park-like area with mature trees. The site is relatively quiet compared to major temples in the Historical Park. Visitors can walk around the main structures at ground level, view brick and stucco ruins, and photograph the architecture in an open-air historical setting.
