About Wat Suwan Dararam Ratchaworawihan
Wat Suwan Dararam Ratchaworawihan is a first-class royal Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya city, located near Pom Phet Fort on U Thong Road. Originally called Wat Thong from the Ayutthaya period, it was restored by King Rama I to honor his parents. It is notable for its Ayutthaya and early Rattanakosin architecture, revered principal Buddha image, and exceptional mural paintings inside the ubosot and viharn.
