Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a prominent island memorial located on a rocky islet about 500 metres off the coast of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, at the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. Built in 1970 to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's meditation on the rock in December 1892, it features two main structures, the Vivekananda Mandapam and Shripada Mandapam, and is accessed by ferry from the mainland.
