About Urusvati Himalayan Research Institute
The Urusvati Himalayan Research Institute is a historic research center and museum located on the Roerich Estate in Naggar, Himachal Pradesh. Established in 1928 by Nicholas and Helena Roerich following their Central Asian expedition, it was originally envisioned as a multidisciplinary scientific institute combining ancient wisdom with modern science. Today, the institute buildings house the Himalayan Folk Art Museum, a memorial research library, and exhibitions detailing the Roerich family's life and work.
