About Twin Lagoon
Twin Lagoon is a pair of lagoons on Coron Island in Coron, Palawan, Philippines, separated by a towering limestone karst wall. The outer and inner lagoons are connected by a narrow crevice and a small underwater tunnel accessible at low tide. Known for its clear turquoise and brackish waters, dramatic cliffs, and calm sheltered setting, it is a highlight of Coron Island-hopping tours and is accessible only by boat.
Visitors guide
Visitors arrive by boat at the outer lagoon surrounded by steep limestone cliffs and then swim, wade or kayak through a narrow crevice in the rock wall to reach the secluded inner lagoon. The inner lagoon is calm and enclosed with clear turquoise, brackish water for swimming and floating. There are no built structures; the setting is natural karst landscape. Tours typically allow time for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and photography before returning to the boat.
