About TreeTop Walk
The TreeTop Walk is a 250-metre freestanding suspension bridge in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve in central Singapore. Connecting Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang, it is the first of its kind in Singapore and offers panoramic views of the forest canopy and MacRitchie Reservoir. Accessed via trails from Windsor Nature Park and Venus Drive, it is a key feature of the MacRitchie Trails network and a popular nature-based attraction for hiking and wildlife observation.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a 250-metre suspension bridge suspended about 25 metres above the forest floor, connecting two hilltops and offering panoramic views of the Central Catchment forest canopy and MacRitchie Reservoir. Access requires a hike of 2.5 to 4.5 km each way via forested trails from Windsor Nature Park or Venus Drive. The setting is dense secondary forest with boardwalks, dirt trails, shelters and interpretive signage. Visitors can explore the bridge one-way, observe birds and wildlife, and continue to nearby trails and Jelutong Tower.

History of TreeTop Walk
The TreeTop Walk was opened on 5 November 2004 as Singapore's first freestanding suspension bridge in a nature reserve. Developed by the National Parks Board to provide canopy-level access for nature recreation and education while protecting the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, it links Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang and forms a key part of the MacRitchie Trails network.
