About Tondol Beach
Tondol Beach is a white-sand beach in Barangay Tondol, municipality of Anda, Pangasinan, on the western coast of Luzon facing the West Philippine Sea. It is known for its very shallow, clear waters and extensive tidal flats that allow visitors to walk hundreds of meters offshore during low tide. The beach features a long shoreline, sandbar, and calm waters, with local resorts and cottages supporting swimming, wading, and island-hopping activities.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a long stretch of light-colored sand with very shallow, calm and clear water. During low tide, wide tidal flats and a sandbar are exposed, allowing wading far from shore, while high tide is better for swimming. The shoreline is lined with nipa cottages, small resorts and food stalls. The setting is rural and quiet, surrounded by fishing village scenery, with open views of the sea and sunset. Areas for picnicking, camping and island-hopping boat rides are available.
