About Timber Trail Cable Car
The Timber Trail Cable Car is a bicable ropeway system in Parwanoo that connects the base resort to hilltop properties across the Shivalik Hills. Established in 1988, this 1.8-kilometer gondola ride offers panoramic aerial views of the mountain range and Kaushalya River valley. The cable car transports visitors approximately 5,000 feet above sea level in an eight-minute journey, providing access to dining and adventure activities at the upper resort.
Visitors guide
Visitors board gondola cabins at the base station near Timber Trail Resort for an eight-minute aerial journey spanning 1.8 kilometers across a deep gorge between two hills of the Shivalik range. The cable car climbs steeply from approximately 3,000 feet to 5,000 feet above sea level, offering dramatic views of mountains and the Kaushalya River below.
