About The Oval at Seletar Aerospace Park
The Oval at Seletar Aerospace Park is a conserved heritage precinct in Seletar, northern Singapore, centred on a large oval-shaped green surrounded by 32 colonial black-and-white bungalows. Formerly part of the Royal Air Force Seletar airbase established in 1928, the area retains its 1929-1930s military housing, tree-lined roads and airfield character. Now managed within Seletar Aerospace Park, it is notable for colonial architecture, heritage trails and adaptive reuse as dining and lifestyle venues.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a quiet, tree-lined oval green encircled by a loop road and 32 conserved two-storey colonial bungalows with distinctive black-and-white timber features, verandas and large gardens. The precinct is low-rise and park-like, with heritage trail markers, mature rain trees and open lawns. Several bungalows house restaurants and cafes that are open to the public, while others remain private residences. The area is suitable for leisurely walks, photography and cycling around the oval and nearby aerospace park roads.
