About Taman Rekreasi Selecta
Taman Rekreasi Selecta is a historic recreation park in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu City, East Java. Established in 1928 during the Dutch colonial period, it is one of the oldest tourist attractions in the region. The park is notable for its extensive flower gardens, outdoor swimming pools fed by mountain springs, amusement rides, and cool highland setting at the foot of Mount Arjuno with views of surrounding mountains.

History of Taman Rekreasi Selecta
Founded in 1928 by Dutch citizen Ruyter de Wildt as a rest place and flower garden for Dutch residents, and opened to the public in 1930. It is regarded as one of the oldest recreation parks in East Java and retains elements of its Dutch-era layout, including the Selecta Hotel built as part of the original complex.
