About Talwara Lake
Talwara Lake, also known as Talwara Jheel, is a seasonal wetland located in the arid landscape of Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan. It forms in a depression along the Ghaggar-Hakra River during the annual monsoon flooding, typically appearing for a few months each year. As the only significant lake in this dry region, it serves as a crucial habitat for diverse avian species, including resident and migratory birds.
