About Stirling Cottage
Stirling Cottage is a heritage museum on the banks of the Harvey River in Harvey, Western Australia, within the Shire of Harvey. Operated by the Harvey History Online and Harvey District Historical Society, the cottage is a reconstruction of an 1850s settler dwelling furnished with period artefacts. It preserves and interprets the early colonial history of the Harvey district, displaying domestic objects, photographs and agricultural items that illustrate pioneer life in the South West region.
