About Statham's Quarry
Statham's Quarry is a disused diorite quarry located in Gooseberry Hill National Park in the Perth Hills, within the City of Kalamunda, Western Australia. Established in 1894, it supplied stone for Perth's roads and buildings until the 1960s. Now a heritage site and recreation area, it features dramatic quarry walls, walking trails, picnic facilities and is a popular venue for rock climbing and abseiling amid jarrah forest.
