Shivrajpur Beach

Shivrajpur Beach is a Blue Flag-certified beach located in Shivrajpur village in Devbhumi Dwarka district, Gujarat, about 12 km from Dwarka town along the Arabian Sea coast. Known for its clear turquoise water, white sandy shoreline and rocky intertidal pools, it was awarded Blue Flag certification in 2020 for cleanliness, safety and environmental management. The beach offers well-maintained facilities and is noted for swimming, snorkeling and sunset views near the Dwarka pilgrimage circuit.

Visitors can expect a long stretch of white sandy beach with clear turquoise water, rocky patches and tidal pools along the Arabian Sea. The beach is well-maintained under Blue Flag standards with clean pathways, seating, toilets, changing rooms and lifeguard supervision. The setting is open and scenic with views of the sea and sunset, suitable for beach walks, photography, swimming in designated areas, and snorkeling/scuba activities offered by local operators. Facilities are concentrated near the main entry area.

Shivrajpur Beach was awarded Blue Flag certification by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in October 2020, becoming one of the first eight beaches in India and the first in Gujarat to receive the international eco-label for environmental management, water quality, safety and education.

Located near the pilgrimage town of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham Hindu pilgrimage sites, the beach is frequently visited by pilgrims and tourists combining coastal recreation with visits to nearby temples and religious sites.
