About Seven Wells Waterfall
Seven Wells Waterfall, known locally as Telaga Tujuh, is a tiered waterfall on Gunung Mat Cincang in Langkawi, Kedah. Fed by streams descending the island's second-highest peak, it forms seven interconnected natural pools along a rock face. Located within a forested geopark area near Pantai Kok, it is notable for its legend, scenic jungle setting, and accessible hiking trail with over 300 steps leading to the upper pools and viewpoints.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a forested setting at the foothills of Gunung Mat Cincang with a car park and small stalls at the base. A steep concrete staircase of over 300 steps leads through rainforest to seven natural rock pools connected by a cascading stream. Upper pools are suitable for wading and swimming when water levels permit, with rock slabs for resting and viewpoints over the forest and sea. Lower falls can be viewed from the base without climbing.
