About Sentosa Boardwalk
Sentosa Boardwalk is a 700-metre pedestrian boardwalk connecting mainland Singapore at VivoCity, HarbourFront to Sentosa Island. Opened in 2011, it provides a scenic, covered waterfront walkway across the harbour with travellators, themed gardens and viewing points. Notable for offering free, 24-hour pedestrian access to Sentosa, it serves as an alternative to the Sentosa Express, cable car and road access, and is popular for leisurely walks and photography.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a flat, fully paved and largely sheltered 700m walk across the water from VivoCity Level 1 to Sentosa. The route features covered travellators, themed garden displays, viewing decks over Keppel Harbour, seating areas and night lighting. The walk takes 15-30 minutes one way and offers views of the harbour, cable cars and Sentosa Gateway. No ticket is required and the boardwalk connects directly to Sentosa's attractions on arrival.
