About Secret Beach
Secret Beach is a small, enclosed pocket beach on Matinloc Island in Bacuit Bay, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. Accessible only through a narrow opening in towering limestone karst cliffs, it is a highlight of El Nido Island Hopping Tour C. The beach features white sand, clear turquoise water, and dramatic karst walls that completely surround it. It lies within the El Nido-Taytay Managed Resource Protected Area and is known for its secluded, pristine natural setting.
Visitors guide
Visitors arrive by boat as part of an island hopping tour and must swim, wade or kayak through a small hole in the limestone cliff to enter the beach. Inside, they find a small cove of white sand enclosed on all sides by high karst cliffs with calm, shallow turquoise water. There are no buildings or commercial developments on the beach itself. Visitors can swim, snorkel, take photographs, and relax on the sand before exiting the same way. Access depends on tide and sea conditions.
