History of Sagada Pottery
Sagada Pottery was established in the early 1970s by Archie Stapleton, who introduced wheel-thrown stoneware using local clay deposits in Sagada. It was later continued by Tessie Baldo and local potters, becoming one of the pioneering pottery studios in the Cordillera region and helping sustain a modern pottery tradition in Mountain Province.
