About Redwoods of the Otway Ranges
The Redwoods of the Otway Ranges is a plantation of Californian Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) located in the Aire Valley near Beech Forest in the Otway Ranges, Victoria. It is a popular visitor site for short walks, photography and picnics amid a cool temperate rainforest setting.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a small, sheltered grove of tall, straight Californian Redwoods set beside the Aire River in a fern-filled valley. A short, flat walking track leads from a gravel car park into the plantation, with picnic tables, toilets and interpretive signage at the entrance.
