Situated between 3,900 and 4,000 meters above sea level, it features Upper and Lower sections spanning approximately 15 kilometers. The glacier serves as a convergence point for three other glaciers—Kalabaland, Sutela, and Yangchar—making it one of the highest glacier density areas in the region.
