About Port MacDonnell and District Maritime Museum
The Port MacDonnell and District Maritime Museum is a volunteer-run community museum in Port MacDonnell on South Australia's Limestone Coast, within the District Council of Grant. Housed in a former customs building near the foreshore, it preserves the maritime heritage of what was once South Australia's southernmost port. The museum displays shipwreck relics, lighthouse equipment, fishing industry artefacts and photographs documenting the town's seafaring and commercial history.
