About Phatthana Nikhom Sunflower Fields
The Phatthana Nikhom Sunflower Fields are seasonal agricultural attractions in Phatthana Nikhom District, Lopburi Province, central Thailand, about 150 km north of Bangkok. Covering extensive farmland along rural roads, the fields bloom annually from November to January, forming vast yellow landscapes against mountain backdrops. Developed as agro-tourism sites, they draw visitors for photography and sightseeing and are among Lopburi's most recognized sunflower viewing areas during the cool season.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect expansive open farmland covered with tall sunflowers in full bloom during the cool season, set against low hills and rural scenery. Fields are divided among several private farms along Road 3017 and surrounding routes, with walking paths between rows, elevated photo platforms, and props for photography. The setting is entirely outdoors and agricultural, with stalls selling snacks, drinks and souvenirs near entrances and wide views ideal for sightseeing and photography.
