Periyar Science and Technology Centre

Periyar Science and Technology Centre is a major science centre located on Gandhi Mandapam Road in Kotturpuram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Operated by the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, it houses interactive science galleries, the B. M. Birla Planetarium, a 3D theatre and outdoor science park. Established in 1988 and named after social reformer Periyar E. V. Ramasamy, it is notable for promoting scientific awareness through hands-on exhibits, astronomy shows and educational programmes for students and families.

Visitors can explore indoor galleries with interactive exhibits on physics, life sciences, transport and energy, outdoor science park models demonstrating scientific principles, the B. M.
