Visitors guide
Visitors can expect an active and recently excavated archaeological site in a rural agricultural landscape near the Kortallaiyar river. The site consists of marked excavation trenches showing stratified cultural deposits, sections of habitation debris and megalithic burial areas. There are no reconstructed monuments or museum structures on site; viewing is limited to the fenced trenches, spoil heaps and exposed sections. Information is primarily through site markers and interaction with excavation staff when work is in progress. The surroundings are open fields with limited shade and visitor infrastructure.
