About Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve
Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve is a protected wetland reserve located about 20 kilometres south of Wyndham in the Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley, Western Australia. Part of the Ord River floodplain and listed as a Ramsar wetland, it protects seasonal lagoons, billabongs and grasslands that support large concentrations of waterbirds. The reserve is noted for birdwatching at Marlgu Billabong, its accessible bird hide and its importance as a dry-season refuge for migratory birds.
