About Numinbah Valley
Numinbah Valley is a rural valley in the Gold Coast hinterland of South East Queensland, about 30 kilometres south-west of Surfers Paradise and bordering New South Wales. Enclosed by forested ranges including Springbrook National Park, it is known for its scenic countryside, rainforest creeks, waterfalls and farmland. The valley is traversed by Nerang–Murwillumbah Road and serves as a gateway to Springbrook, Natural Bridge and hinterland walking tracks.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a broad, green valley floor with dairy farms and rural properties surrounded by steep, rainforest-covered ranges. The main road follows the Nerang River and creeks through the valley, with lookouts, picnic areas, swimming holes and trailheads leading into Springbrook National Park. The area is quiet and rural, with forested walks, birdlife, waterfalls such as Natural Bridge nearby, and scenic driving rather than urban facilities or shops.
