North Vanlaiphai Paragliding Destination

North Vanlaiphai Paragliding Destination is an adventure tourism site located at North Vanlaiphai village in Serchhip district, Mizoram. Situated on a hilltop offering panoramic views of surrounding hills and valleys, it has been developed by Mizoram Tourism as a paragliding launch site. The destination is notable for tandem paragliding flights, scenic viewpoints, and its role in promoting aero sports tourism in Mizoram's southern region.

Visitors can expect a hilltop launch site with open take-off area and panoramic views of the rolling hills and valleys of Serchhip district. The site is set in a rural, elevated landscape with clear skies and wind currents suitable for paragliding. Visitors can watch take-offs and landings, enjoy sightseeing and photography from the viewpoint, and undertake tandem paragliding flights with licensed operators when weather permits.

Developed by the Government of Mizoram, Department of Tourism, as part of initiatives to promote adventure and aero sports tourism in the state, with North Vanlaiphai identified and developed as a dedicated paragliding destination
