History of Nong Bua Park
Nong Bua is a natural lake that gave Nong Bua Lam Phu its name, with 'Nong Bua' meaning lotus pond. The lake and surrounding area have long been the settlement core of the town, and the municipality later developed the shoreline as Suan Satharana Nong Bua, the provincial capital's principal public park and civic landmark.
