About Night Safari
Night Safari in Mandai, Singapore, is the world's first nocturnal wildlife park, located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve adjacent to Singapore Zoo. Opened in 1994, it houses over 900 animals from around 100 species in naturalistic habitats designed for nighttime viewing under subtle lighting. Visitors explore via guided tram and walking trails to observe nocturnal animals, with a focus on conservation, research and education.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a nighttime wildlife experience in a forested setting with dim, moonlight-like lighting. The park is explored via a guided open-air tram ride through geographical zones and four walking trails (Fishing Cat, Leopard, East Lodge and Wallaby Trails). Enclosures are naturalistic and open-concept, allowing close viewing of nocturnal animals such as Malayan tapirs, fishing cats, leopards and flying foxes, plus a Creatures of the Night presentation and dining areas.
