About National Railway Museum
The National Railway Museum in Port Adelaide, South Australia, is Australia's largest undercover railway museum, located at 76 Lipson Street. It preserves and displays more than 100 locomotives, carriages and railway artefacts spanning the three gauges used in South Australia. Notable for its extensive Commonwealth and South Australian Railways collections, the museum offers indoor pavilions, outdoor tracks and interactive exhibits illustrating the state's railway history and its role in national development.
