About National Police Memorial
The National Police Memorial is a national memorial in Kings Park on the northern shore of Lake Burley Griffin in Parkes, Canberra. Dedicated in 2006, it honours Australian police officers who have died on duty since 1803. The memorial features a bronze wall of remembrance and more than 1,200 touchstones, each representing a fallen officer, set in a landscaped terrace overlooking the lake.

Visitors can expect an open-air, landscaped memorial terrace overlooking Lake Burley Griffin. The site features a bronze commemorative wall inscribed with names, rows of bronze touchstones bearing police badges, information panels, and paved pathways with seating.
