Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a large, shallow coastal lagoon surrounded by parklands, reserves and residential areas. An 8.4 km flat, mostly paved loop trail circles the lagoon with bridges, boardwalks and lookouts. The setting includes mangroves, reed beds, open water and sandy foreshores. Visitors can walk, jog or cycle the trail, launch kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, fish from designated spots, picnic in reserves, and observe waterbirds.
