About Mutun Beach
Mutun Beach (Pantai Mutun) is a sandy coastal attraction in Sukajaya Lempasing Village, Padang Cermin Sub-district, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung, Indonesia, about 20 km west of Bandar Lampung. Known for its light brown to white sand, calm shallow waters and views of Tangkil Island just offshore, it is one of the most accessible beaches from the provincial capital. The beach offers swimming, boat trips, snorkeling and family recreation with gazebos and food stalls along the shoreline.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a long sandy shoreline with calm, shallow water suitable for wading and swimming, lined with rented gazebos, food stalls and coconut trees. The beach faces Tangkil Island, which is visible offshore and reachable by small boat. Areas for swimming, sunbathing, photography and boat boarding are clearly used, with facilities for changing, eating and parking near the entrance. The setting is developed for day visitors and families rather than a remote natural beach.
