Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a strenuous return bushwalk of approximately 15 kilometres from the Namadgi Visitor Centre to the summit via a well-marked fire trail and walking track. The route ascends through open eucalypt forest and granite slopes to an exposed summit with 360-degree views over Canberra, the Tidbinbilla Range and Namadgi National Park. There are no structures at the summit; the experience is natural bushland, rock outcrops and expansive viewpoints. The trail is for day use and hiking only.
