About Merredin Railway Museum
The Merredin Railway Museum is housed in the historic Merredin Railway Station on Great Eastern Highway in Merredin, Western Australia, about 260 km east of Perth. Established in the former station building dating from the 1890s Eastern Goldfields Railway, it preserves railway memorabilia, photographs, uniforms and equipment illustrating the role of rail in opening the Wheatbelt and Goldfields during the gold rush era.
