About Menumbing Hill
Menumbing Hill (Bukit Menumbing) is a historic hilltop site in Mentok, West Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands. It is notable as the exile place of Indonesia's first president Sukarno, Mohammad Hatta and other national figures in 1948-1949. The hill features the preserved Wisma Menumbing, a former Dutch-era residence now functioning as a museum, set amid pine forest with panoramic views over Mentok and the surrounding coastline.
