About Marikina Shoe Museum
The Marikina Shoe Museum is a heritage museum in San Roque, Marikina City, Metro Manila, dedicated to the city's shoemaking industry. Housed in a restored 1860s Spanish-era rice mill along J.P. Rizal Street, it displays thousands of shoes, including pairs worn by former Philippine presidents, vice presidents, mayors and celebrities, most notably a large collection from former First Lady Imelda Marcos. It highlights Marikina's identity as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines.
