About Marabut Rock Formations
Marabut Rock Formations are a group of limestone karst islets, sea stacks and cliffs scattered along the coast and shallow waters of Marabut municipality in Samar province, Eastern Visayas. Formed over millions of years, the weathered formations rise from the Samar Sea and Leyte Gulf, creating a distinctive seascape of jagged rocks, small coves and beaches. The site is notable for its scenic coastal geology and is primarily explored by boat on island-hopping tours.
