About Lincoln's Rock
Lincoln's Rock is a sandstone cliff-top lookout on the southern escarpment of the Jamison Valley in Blue Mountains National Park near Wentworth Falls, New South Wales. Formerly known as Flat Rock, the unfenced platform offers expansive views across the Jamison Valley to Mount Solitary and Kings Tableland. Accessed via Lincoln's Rock Road, it is renowned for dramatic sunset photography, wedding ceremonies and its sheer vertical drop, making it one of the Blue Mountains' most photographed natural viewpoints.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a flat, exposed sandstone rock platform perched directly on the cliff edge with uninterrupted panoramic views over the Jamison Valley, Kings Tableland and Mount Solitary. The site is reached by a very short walk from a small roadside car park on Lincoln's Rock Road within Blue Mountains National Park. There are no fences, barriers, toilets or visitor centre at the rock itself, and the surrounding environment is natural eucalypt bushland. It is primarily a sightseeing and photography stop.
